Hazards of taking over a lease?

Hey guys,

So I'm in the market for a new car and came across one that I like (I'll say what it is later, I want to keep this on topic). I Already checked it out, test drove it, and like the numbers I'll have to work with. The "seller" is currently leasing this car and there's 6 months left for the lease. The price I'll have to pay, which is the remainder of the 6 mths lease as well as the buy price after that (plus applicable taxes), is less than the asking price of other cars of roughly the same year/mileage. On top of that, the "seller" is throwing in a set of winter wheels and tires, and is agreeing to pay half of the transfer fee. I think the factory 4 yr/100k warranty is still in effect, I'm not sure, I'll have to check with the dealership. It's only a 2006 model. I've shared this with some friends and they, as well as I, think it's a good buy.

So, I've never dealt with a lease before. Is there anything I should look out for when taking over someone's lease? Or any general advice you guys may have?

Thanks!
