The 8 guys are starting to wonder if this is going to happen at all.

1 last big hurrah before we start putting our rides away.

Also before the big Heart to Hearth gathering in Oct. Which is an all Mazda model event.

So Sept 7th at our usual spot at D&B's.

It seems you missed telling us something in the middle here.

 

No, they are just taking their time; not in any hurry.

They wanted to know if we were an organized club with and executive, membership dues, etc. Wanted to know if we had insurance. The gal I spoke to said they had no concerns about us or our activity, but that she had to work this through the channels.

 

I'd totally be in! I've now graduated school so I'll finally have some time and money to attend these awesome events. I'm gonna be a party pooper, I wouldn't be able to do the 7th as I have a bachelor party that weekend. I'll keep an eye out through the thread in case the date changes though

 

The 7th looks good for me as well, count me in!

 

I think they're afraid we'll be like ERTEFA or something.

OK, here's the response from Bentall:

"As you are not an organization which can provide insurance we cannot allow you to hang out in the parking lot. However, we cannot stop you from going to the Boston Pizza for a meal."

So as long as we are gathering to go a meal, its OK. So I guess if we are hanging out in the parking lot, we are just "waiting for a few other friends to show up" before going inside.

Does that work for everyone, or do we want to go somewhere else?

 

As expected, they just want to make their presence known.
We will gather like we always do.
