Also my club near Barrie hosts events, but our schedule is not up yet.

Only since 2003. I'd known about it longer but didn't have a car that I wanted to compete with until I bought my Protege5. This summer will be my first test and tune events with the RX-7.

I've been to a few different clubs solo 2's originally joined PMSC the one by MSOC at the Hershey Centre I found to be one of the best courses (they change each time) and am looking forward to making it to a few more there this summer. Work interfered last summer a fair amount.

I'd recommend making it out to at least one of there’s

It's a time trial driving skills competition done in a parking lot around pylons that mimic a scaled down race course. You show up, run 6-7 runs and try to get the fastest time you can. Cars are usually classed against similiarly equipped cars. It's lots of fun, harder than it looks and really addictive.

did my first autocross last summer. it was great fun. i kind of sucked though, lol. it's all about practice though, and i think you learn a lot about car control doing it.

MCO (Ottawa) has regular SoloII events, and they seem to run it real good. nice big course also. you might consider a roadtrip to check it out
