Talking Greetings Everyone!

Hey Everyone,

Just joined the club.
I wanted to start off I guess by
posting the new member of the
family. Just got it in from japan
haha and i know a few of you
are probably a little bitter about
the RHD's coming in, but its all
i could get! :P

Anyways, its a 1992 FD3S Rx-7.
I'm going to list the mods
and post a pic:

* Engine Side Port Processed
* KKK K28 Turbo
* Racing Waistgate
* TRUST Intercooler
* STILLWAY Oneoff front pipe
* Oneoff Muffler
* Racing Radiator
* Aluminum Pulley
* HKS EVC
* Defi Boost Gauge
* TRUST Oil temp gauge
* Water Temp Gauge
* Exhaust temp gauge
* HKS F-conV pro(gold)
* Racing seats (New!)
* STILLWAY Short Shifter
* DUMLOP Semi-racing tire
* 17" Alloys
* Oilcooler
* Adjustable Suspension
* Boost 1.2kg
=

Now most of this was told
to me by the previous owner
in Japan and this baby is
supposed to be putting out 600HP
(Not sure if thats crank or wheel
but either way its not totally confirmed
yet) and do the 1/4 mile in 10 seconds
(Also not confirmed yet, although I
would say in Canada and given the
altitude 10 seconds is a bit optimistic)

Mileage: 41,000 Km (Original - Modified at 30,000 Km)
Auction Grade:4.0
Engine: Rotary (13B)
Transmission: Manual (5 Speed)
Color: Red

So is anyone familiar with this Turbo?

Hey welcome. No ones bitter about RHD's as long as you're not 16 years old, your parents bought you the car, and you drive it like an ***. 600HP is a bit optimistic.

Where about's you from?

damn that turbo is weird, look at the intake, what is it, like 3" or less? For such a big turbo, that's weird.

No air filter. Why is it that people enjoy having things sucked into their engine?

Nice car though...The body looks quite nice, even that wing.

Yet another RHD FD.
We're going to have alot of FD's on the road this year!

Congrats on the purchase. Quickly put a filter on that turbo!

Hmmm..I'd say the owner was pretty optimistic with 600hp. The inlet on the turbo looks pretty small to flow 600hp worth of air.

I like the front end...almost Viper-ish

Get it on a dyno and see what it does!

Lates,
Yeah, the problem is finding an airfilter that will fit in there, if its too small
that turbo will pretty much suck it in and shred it haha

Well take a tape measure, measure across the inlet, go to a speed shop and buy a K&N for that size that you have. Then Home Depot and buy a clamp for the appropriate size and BOOM tough actin' Tinactin you have an air filter.Edit: You can reuse the clamp that is already there.

The bumper I am iffy, Feed style hood, Knightsports style wing still rare peices. Where in Canada you say west coast?

I agree......with the looks like a viper part

I'm going to also have to concur with Joe on the HP estimates. That looks to be about a 2" - 2.5" inlet......and if the inlet is 2", the inducer is even smaller. You'll probably make some decent numbers with that turbo - but a 600whp capable turbo would dwarf that thing

But hey, dyno numbers will tell the tale.

Welcome to the club
