Fuel Tanks

Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm a rookie. Are the fuel tank and sending unit required for my '85 GSL SE specific to this car, or the same as any FB? Hope this makes sense?

The GSL-SE has a different tank than the rest of the FB's. As far as the sending units, Im not totally sure
