p.s also with the sleepy eye conversion, most kits allow you to put the headlights all the way up or down. If you just liek how they look during the day, you can accomplish the handicapped look also just by turning the dials under the lights so the lights dont go all the way down

careful, now... fog lamps != auxillary low beams. Fog lamps are meant to be mounted low, beneath the bumper, and only on when headlights are off and conditions require them. Mounting fog lamps above your bumper, as in behind FTP lenses, and using them to augment headlights could not only open you up to major ticket ownage but should your lamps blind an oncoming driver and cause an accident, you'd be liable even if you don't touch the other car.

Generally, as defined in SAE standards, fog lamps have a wide even beam, less intense than a low beam, and intended to be mounted low to shine out under blankets of fog hovering near the ground, and in other conditions of reduced visibility such as rain, snow and dust. Properly aimed, fog lamps can be used to reduce the back scatter glare that often results from water droplets, snowflakes and dust particles illuminated by headlamps. The fog lamp with its downward aimed beam can reduce that veiling glare and permit seeing, albeit at much shorter distance, the roadway and important targets. Speeds, of course, have to be reduced under those conditions.

over the last three years, the number of glare complaints about fog and other auxiliary front-mounted lamps has increased substantially. This may be because of the significantly increased OEM installation of optional fog lamps and the similar increased aftermarket installations by the public on vehicles in use. This is accompanied by frequent misuse of these lamps: using fog lamps during conditions other than permitted by most states' laws. They are reported to be most often used at night in clear weather, and not under conditions of reduced visibility.

Ya, sometimes I feel like mounting half a dozen extra lamps on the truck for pay backs for these people that drive with driving lights on,... on a clear night!

Man, I'm high up in a 4x4 and they bother me!

Glad I live in the city and only have to drive 5 minutes to get to work.

lol i can totaly understand where you all are coming from with the lights .. perhaps i was unclear ... with i tend to be from time to time lol .. but i will without a doubt make sure that the aux lamps are facing in such a direction that they dont obstruct the view of oncoming traffic and in a sens will mainly be used for show .. its a simple mod that i have not seen alot of somthing that i wouldnt mind having in my car .. but for main road driving my sleepey eye set up will be fully adjustable in the cab the wirte up im using for direction is this

Yeah, as far as fog lights go in general, I have a set on my Jeep, because the factory headlights suck. They're pointed almost straight down at the road, because I can't see at all with fog, my headlights shoot straight out.
