Franken7 lives

Franken7 is finally reliably ALIVE. with parts scavenged from 4 of my own RX7s, as well as about a half dozen other members parts and cars, i have finally put life into the monster. check the album for some half assed pics of the process, thanks to all who helped. still needs rims, a lil more body work, a lil more tuning, a lil more everything but thats kinda the beauty. as it sits now its a pretty sleepy lil rocket. flat black ftw

yup, it seems like u can do just about anything u want on the roads from about 5 am till 8ish or traffic kills it so i tend to tear around in the mornings when i can cops are all on shift change an then hidin out in dark corners n donut shops waking up, an ive got the timing down fairly nicely so that im always goin the opposite direction of the majority all the way. 6:30am is prime, ive passed cops doin 120 up country hills bvd an not had em so much as glance at me, shame that its me seeing them that makes me **** myself an not the other way around :P

So what about throwing a cheap *** splash paintjob on her in the meantime. Primer protects nothing!

yeah i like flat black too but primer is useless as anything but make-up. i need to put a proper top coat on it be it flat black or plum crazy purple primer isnt a protectant, but untill ive done the hood, sunroof, cleaned up a lil more rust and put on the rear bumper surround primer is all its gonna get. makes it even more of a sleeper in my opinion as well, if it was glossy candy apple red with vinyls an rims an lights n bells n whistles an of course stickers you would expect it to be fast.

If you had all that on it, the next time I delivered in Calgary I'd find it and steal it so I could return it to it's natural beauty.

Looking good so far. I like the TII spoiler. What's the finished colour going to be?
