Found a Yellow FD on Kijiji

I know there has been a few ppl looking for FD's lately.

It apparently has a new engine in it as well.

VIN number is JM1FD3320P0202859

I can't find the info for the FD, but I know on my Z31s and Z32, you can find the original colour in the VIN.

This car was first plated in Ontario in 1997

I didn't even look at the pictures since I wasn't interested so I didn't notice the engine bay being different.

I always thought you could only get the R1s in CYM, and that car is obviously not an R1.
(Unless you could get CYM on other models, in which case, never mind.)

Colour is not represented by a VIN digit.

It will be a paint code represented on the vin plate under the hood on the firewall (on FC's anyways).

Someone email them and ask if its been repainted and why.

I had actually test drove this yellow FD two weeks ago on a Saturday. The car is not CYM R1, it is a Touring edition with BOSE Acoustic Wave sound system, sunroof, etc. The yellow paint is not CYM yellow either.

IMO, this yellow FD is in bad shape, had front end accident, front bumper slightly damaged, the front bumper doesn't line up well, (even though he said nothing on the frame), the yellow paint starting to have spider web crack, as the owner said the body shop used the wrong primer on the bumper. Even the engine drove and act like new, but there is also 5th gear synchro problem as well. The interior is bad, the A-pillar boost gauge didn't even have a proper pod, the guy just install it by melting the plastic panel and leave the gauge at the corner of the A-pillar and panel area.

Just my 2 cents.

Here is another yellow FD. It used to be my buddy's FD, we used to go to all kinds of car meetings and Sherway Gardens meet before. He sold it last year to a guy in Kitchener/Waterloo. Now the owner is selling it after one year.
