Looks good Jason. I take it this will replace the newer 323? So you will no longer be a "Riverdale Honour Student". If so, it will be basically a winter beater then. With the turbo, but get some REAL good winter tires - i.e. with 4" spikes! lol

Lotsa fun right there. Don't know if they'll work with the GTX but I have a set of front axles w/ CV joints from 88 base 323. Drove the car 5k with them before scrapping the car. I'll let them go cheap if you need them.

Hey J.
Let me know when your going to make your yearly trip for the cruise and I'll be more then happy to come again this year!!
I was actually trying to source out somthing more local for myself but everything was pretty rotten.
Awsome find! keep enjoying it. Now you just need to turbo the RX-7! Zoom Zoom!

Nice GTX! Looks to be in great shape!
Here's what used to live on my driveway:
Here's my blue car and my friend's GT at his shop:
These cars are tonnes of fun to drive, it sucks that they only made 1243 GTXs and something like 700 GTs. I bet not even a quarter of them are remaining today

Very nice. I'm considering importing one as a DD in the near future. I know parts are hard to come by but just how hard? What's the fuel mileage and overall reliability like?

well i just went to pembroke and back 400km for 38liters.... not too bad i guess, i'm not too sure about reliability i've only put 600km on the car up too now, but i would figure as long as you keep it pretty stock there shouldn't be any problems. if you decide to mod it, i here the tranny like to blow apart... the engine is strong though it can handle some pretty good power... nothing like a rotary but pretty good
and you can get parts from mazda as long as you can pay for them... i've ordered quite a few parts already and they got them pretty quick( 2-3 days)
