Has any in Canada successfully converted their 2nd gen to a 100% electric vehicle? Are there any shops that specialize in this type of conversion.

There are a number of shops which specialize in conversion. I'd have to go back on my old contacts in order to find them so it may just be easier to do some Googling to get more current information. Several around Toronto and Montreal.

The conversion process is not fundamentally difficult however it is very time consuming and can be quite expensive depending on the battery tech you choose. Batteries are one of those things where the quality of the end result will be in direct proportion to how much you spend. Spend a few thousand on lead acid and you have a heavy vehicle with limited range. Spend $20,000 on lithium ion and you have a light fast vehicle with several hundred KM of range.

I am looking at a Lithium Ion Conversion Aaron. If you know someone reputable who has done this before and doesn't mind being on TV let me know.

Would be a very cool project.
A friend of mine is in the process of going that conversion on a Reynard Formula Ford.
