FAST or ROTA Wheels

Anyone here have any experience with either of these wheels?

I'm thinking of getting D2 Rota or Version 5 Fast ...

I've met a lot of people running Rotas on their track car and are happy with it.
Then I came across Fast wheels and they are the same weight as many of the JDM wheels.

Rota is used on more track cars than fast wheels, but the upper level of fast wheels arent bad.

I would personally go with Rotas if you had the choice.

agrered ... if one is looking to aquire wheels that will perform well and not be a hinderance rotas are where its at .. on hte other hand fast is a much more affordable route .. as i have 17" icons on my 7 that weigh a mear 17 lbs per wheel ... thats pretty good considering the low cost of such a wheel

Because they are all 17 x 8. I want to run a staggered set up with 17x9s at the back in order to run 255s, 235s in the front.

I can't decide right now. One looks like work sp1 3pc and the other kind off resemble gram lights 57 pro.

Normally I am against bashing retailers but...............P.I. has never given me a deal even at supposed wholesale and when I have bought Holley parts from them they have alway charged MORE than suggested retail! I have no idea which store the above post is from , but the one by me is not fun to deal with

Wow,

$400 price difference between rota and fast.

it looks like fast paired with rt 615s 225 45 / 255 40. Tires23 in missisauga is the cheapest so far.

the above post is coming from the acarborough location .. and yes .. from what i understand some or even most of the pi locations can be bastards to deal with .. on they are corpratly owned .. meaning that usualy the manager of a particular location realy has to say in the prices ... however ... if one must buy parets froma pi location i say all come to the scarborough locatioin ... we may not be able to budge on the pricing however i can say that we are prolly one of the more enjoyable staff to deal with .. yes i agree we are expensive .. but hey ... what can i do right lol ... either way so far ive met 2 forum members .. one owning a white t 2 and one owning a fb im not sure of the modle .. howvere it was a real pleasure meeting with the guys and i look forward to seeing them as future customers .. in the end its all buisness and we all share the same love .. so hey whatever works for each individual

just to add, I went with the FAST wheels and RT615 Azenis.

It came with all the hardware, rings and lug nuts. Very happy doing business with tires23.

I did not end up using the concentric rings as they won't seat fully. Need some alignment done and should be ready for the track day. We'll see how these tires hold up.

One thing that I don't understand is when all people think about is price and then when a company goes under or the company doesn't have enough margin to deliver on time because they are trying to float a company with low prices. All they do is complain about how the people who run the company are a bunch of crooks. I would rather pay a little more and know that the company that I am dealing with will be around for a long time example P.I.
