this vidio is to everyone who is complaining about a loud exhaust .. when ur **** is louder thanthis .. then complain lol .. and take into consideration this is taken with a digital camera so the sound quality isnt that great by nemeans

lol my 89 FC NA i had for a winter beater was ALOT louder without the silencer, urs is still loud tho.

 

id like to mention again as well that the video was taken via a digital camera ... not the best in picking up sounds .. its so loud it makes u squint when ur outside the car lol ..

hehehe I will never forget the first real drive of my 1971 rx2 after the install of the ported supercharged 13b
with just the racing beat header on it, I was driving it to my friends muffler shop and was driving it very lightly on the throttle
in an effort to make less noise.
the sight of a postman more than a block away covering his ears with the stacks of letters that he had in his hands
was quite funny, wonder what he would have done if when I drove past him I revved it higher than the 1600 rpm
that I was idling it at to get to the shop.
full throttle with 8lbs of boost and a open header was unbearable, inside the car

oh, and the same exhaust system on a turbo will be quieter than NA because the turbo itself acts as a muffler.

 

For those of you who have been at the track when my car is out there----thats loud!

 

The theory is right. But I don't know, I had a RB presilencer, and a SS packed Muffler, Joe (RPM) Had a cherrybomb, and a melted fiberglass can... Yet my car was WAY LOUDER. I still can't figure this out.

1. nobody's car is louder than Al's. It borders on ear bleed levels.
2. You guys are all nuts for standing that close to a car on a dyno. You could really get hurt.

and yeah, race cars always take the cake on "loud", heh.

 

The B-K Motorsports 3-Rotor ALMS P2 car... now that is L-O-U-D End of competition.

Mind you... it is an ear piercing loud whereas when the ALMS Corvettes or the Panoz's run past the grandstands at Infineon the entire thing shakes with 6000 people seated in it.

 

Yeah keep in mind these cars that are bordering "ear bleed" level are RACE cars not street cars. Mine was a daily driver last year put over 30k on it.

 

Mine's a street car. Just not any street.
