Hi guys,

I am prepearing to get my new toy on the street in a month or two and was told by my insurance that i will need to get it evaluated( apraised, be told by an export how much my car is worth). Can anyone who lives in montreal area direct me to a good place where you have been, which is not expensive and give good apraisals

the car is a 84 gs, customised.

You could try some of the local performance parts stores, the local speed shop here is the one who does ours. Or maybe yellow pages under appraisers??

 

Thanks for the answer however i am looking for a location that someone has experiance with.
The last place i went to last year had never seen an FB before and under estimated it's value in my opinion.

good service, nice guy, they are pros for evaluating corvettes and collections car.
PLUS they get to you! Called the guy, came up to my door the next day at 10am, checked the car from A-Z thank you byebye.

The only thing is that they are expensive, 150$ but since you have a Rx customised i thing you dont want anyboddy to say that your old 84 gs worth 7000$ or less , i took those guys because I had no choices, my insurances needed THIS ONE, they are the best do and are well know by insurances companies

150$ is not that expensive, i paid that much last year for a diffirent car, and i had to drive it there myself

 

I used PG Évaluation as well last year.
Was a bit disapointed by the apraisal value he gave me but in all honnesty with all the JDMs I still got a fair quote for my Canadian FD and it's not like the car doesn't have stone chips and all...
