your probably gona need cats, but first i would just test as is, go to crapy tire and get a gallon jug of methal hydrate, run your take down to just under 1/4, then add the whole gallon. now take it really easy and go test for emissions. after you finnish, gingerly drive to the closest gas station and fill her all the way up.

if you dont pass like that youll need cats (assuming you dont have any)

okay i tried researching and using the search button on the forum but i could not find a proper answer. So now i decided to put a cat on my full RB DP-tip exhaust, i believe the whole thing is 2.5". My question now is that would the Bonez 2.5" cat fit my setup? the one that bolts on to stock, or should I get the custom one that needs to welding instead?

I am leaning to the custom one just in it is too long or too short...any suggestions?

Also...would a vehicle pass etest w/o airpump? the last person who help mod my car took my air pump..

ummm.....you got a proper answer above... If your RB is 2.5" and the bonez is 2.5" it'll work. I believe S4's need the air pump, and s5's can get away without it, but i might be thinking 5th/6th actuators on NA's
