Would someone from BC tell me if I can bring my 88 Vert into BC and register it when I move from Manitoba?
The car is bog.standard with the air pump on, etc. We will be moving to Powell River, on the coast, not Vancouver.

I know that on Vancouver Island, there is ZERO emission test (thats why im removing my cat lol), that is only on the mainland. I'm not 100% sure about PR but I believe they done have them either. Hope this helps.

 

BC killed their AirCare program this year.

This is the last year for aircare in BC. Gone at the end of december.

 

There is still out of province inspection to be passed before a vehicle can be registered in BC, though if the stock emissions equipment is present that shouldn't be a problem, they won't test whether it works. My family's experience was that the OOP was an opportunity for shops to recommend extra work to pass the inspection though.
