I hope that you are not doing this right now. You need paperwork and you need to go through a particular port of entry.
You can get the details here:
http://www.riv.ca/
And what is a 'oop dine ince'?

A couple of years ago my friend an I went to New York to bring back a 1969 Dodge Charger. We trailered it and learnt that not only does the car have to be imported into Canada, but it has to be exported out of the U.S. This means a clean title and contacting the DMV a week or 2 BEFORE you try to bring the car back. They have to do a title search to make sure the car isn't stolen as well as other paperwork you'll need to get the car out of the country.
