Ouch! In Finland they fine you based on the severity of the speeding, and based on your income... so those "poor millionaires" that get busted for so-called routine speeding have BIG fines! lol

Makes sense. Proves that those with better fortune are not above the law. Actually, it seems to be more accordance with the law unlike the speeding fines here in Canada.

Think about it, you commit a crime that fulls under the criminal code the judge will set BAIL, if you get it, at whatever it takes to actually cause an effect on you.

Speeding laws aren't like that. So if you're a multimillionaire in a ferrari you have $ to fight the case and the charges. But we give the same fines to broke people driving tercels. Doesn't make sense.
