Dgrr 2025?
Dgrr 2025?
Any Canadian folks making a contingent to travel down this year? Looking to attend, would by my first time. I have an airbnb near Bryson booked and eyeing a stopover in WV for the night of the 23rd. Have extra beds.
I noticed on the DGRR site there is someone registered from Pickering. Is that anyone on here?
Cheers
Mike

If it's first time, you'll have a blast. Hopefully some of the guys here will make their way down there this year.
It's been a few years for me. Some great moments and some very precariously ones too. Knowing what I know now, if I had a way of transporting my ride down there, I would definitely go. Unfortunately I don't have an enclosed trailer and I don't have the money to do the trip properly. Even though I've attended twice before, it was never with my own ride. I was always co-pilot. The drive down is brutal on the car if you don't have it properly protected. Bug splatter and rock chips are a real thing. Apart from the unforseen rotary curse anytime someone attends such an event. Whether it be a belt snapping, or a power steering giving up, there's always something that's happened when attending this event.
If I lived closer to that area I'd attend for sure. Being 13hrs away though... I'm no spring chicken anymore.. 13hrs in the FD to do even more driving when you get there.. takes a toll on the body.

I was planning on going in May but with the all the stuff going on with the tariffs etc I have been cancelling all my US trips. It's looking likely that I'll cancel my May deal's gap trip at this point as well.
