I would consider late crew. But I have to budget and see about time. Time more or less is hard to get this year. To much on the go.

Cheap gas is great, but 75 cents to the USD is a killer.

Is the glass half full or half empty?

Hey Rick, where do you usually stay when you go there? I know you have booked at other places than natahala village. I was looking on natahalas site tonight and they dont seem to have our awesome cabins that was always booked way up in the mountain. :-(

This is who I went thru last year, great spot, no mountains to climb! But on the 129 South The Snake. Remember the road we took to Atlanta for the Mitty.

Well, thinking late May, If I don't hear from some of you I'll book a 1-2 bedroom and your **** out of luck, couples prefer but not a prerequisite if I go for a bigger cabin.
LMK now as space is limited.

Tentatively booking a cabin around Deals Gap May 15, 2015, thru the long weekend If anyone interested LMK. I'll start with a 1 bedroom if more interested it will great larger from there, couples welcome as this is a driving / party weekend. I'll book in the next two weeks! Pricing will be person, couples get dibs on full bedrooms! Still like the one we stay in last year and at this point still available.

Cheers

It's looking like the weather is going to be more than accommodating.

I leave at about 5am on the 17th.

Where's that hotel that's nearby and usually has availability. Moe and I are most likely going to drive the 9180 down. When's everyone leaving?

Microtell Inn, 82 Songbird Forest Dr.

I'm staying there, so is my buddy Scott, whom you should know from CSCS (he has the white m3).

-Geoff

Edit: on the road at 5am Friday. I'm staying until Tuesday.

I remember his car. SICK. So clean. Beyond clean. He takes care of that M3 for sure.

Have fun guys. First time not going in some time. If I went this year it would have been #8 for me.

Let's get an update from someone who went...

How was the weather?
Was the turn out bigger/smaller than last year's 10th Anniversary?
Did thewird get a T-shirt?

I was there from Friday and left Tuesday morning.

Only bad day was Sunday, rained a ton (still drove the Blue Ridge in a torrential downpour though).

thewird got his t-shirt.

Monday was the best day at the dragon for me. The road was deserted and the weather was gorgeous.

Great trip, will be back again next year.

Made it to deals gap yesterday. Heading up to the dam and robbinville for breakfast. So far the weather is great. Order parts from ray hope FedEx finds the place as everyone who has been down here GPS is almost useless.
