Unfortunately the province of Manitoba hasn't been blessed with an HKS, or Apexi shop. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a decent shop in MB, more specifically in the Winnipeg area.

How come alot the RX-7 Owners here in WPG are a-holes? I have talked to several RX-7 owners and none of them even know that their car is special and that there are enthusiasts out there. it just seems funny to me that the nearly half a dozen car owner's I have spoken to don't even care what kind of car they have.
A little off topic I know,
But you do know that Canadian Tire can special order what you need from APEXi and HKS right?

since I don't have plates on the front of my car the only way you will see what kind of plates I have are if you are trailing behind me

 

Yah I agree with you on the A-hole part, I caught upto a nicely modded 1st gen a few weeks back only to receive the middle finger and and an abrupt turn. If you see a silver FB with blacked out taillights thats me, and Im friendly so wave me down haha. Just wanted to let you guys know there are some of us left here, haha.

Are you the fellow I met from Transcona, when we tried to get a local Rx-7 club meet going in the spring???


I've had several good experiences seeing fellow RX-7 owners....most cars however seem to be on their last legs and held together by the rust.....I shed a tear when I see that....but start thinking what parts I could use....

 

Nope I am From Sk, I am here for school at the U of M, have been to a couple of rx-7 meets at the sport check a few years back when I was in wpg. That was when Serena showed me where all the enthusiasts hang out. I haven't heard from her in a while. and thus the community seems to be dwindling here as of late

 

Serena is no longer a part of the community, I think her car died too. I know pretty much every 7 owner in the city, pretty hard to get people to come out to events.

 

wpgrexx, I wouldn't mind being told of events, I would attend anything that I could... i love the entusiast comroddery. If you ever feel like Beer and Wings sometime let me know.

I dunno, I am going to pull the engine back apart, something is wonky in one of the front coolant seals, not holding pressure to my satisfaction. It may or may not be ready this year. besides, I am waiting to get my carb back from Mazdatrix for my REPU. I definetely want to hook up with you and go cruising though!!!
