I'm definitely going to try to make it out to this one. Need a quick rebuild this weekend first, then a bit of tuning.

No love for the green FB that makes it out all the time?

I finally swapped out my transmission , its basically gearing from a 2001 miata, but 5th is from an S4 NA. No mire grinding gears now, and second and third is finally closer in ratio, dropping the difference to only about 2k rpm, vs 3krpm. Should net me some higher speeds on the straight away.

But I'll be there as usual having a blast and giving out tons of ride

What is the Time Attack like to drive in? Is it like Solo 1 (5 laps) or is it like a race qually session. Can you pass in the corners or only on the straights. What are the rules like and could I bring one of my toys out to play? I just wouldn't like getting lumped in with the Krikorians and their 500HP toys.

Any sound limits, fuel limits etc....

So I just went to the website and it looks just like Solo 1 with hot chicks, lol.

What is this with no refueling in the paddock or grid? How am I supposed to refuel my car, load it back on the trailer and go home? What is the db limit?

Also, just as I feared all race cars get lumped together, grrrrrrrr........

Eric it might not be as fun for you but the more real racecars the better (from a spectators point of view) .
Krazy Koncepts... how do the photographers get to the inside of the track? Are they hired or do they just request the vests and stuff? Volunteers? I'd like some info on it, and you can check out my flickr page for previous CSCS @ TMP photos from June if you'd like.. down here:

You should definitly come out .... make sure its with the rx7 and not the cougar ... who likes cougars anyways :p they're not that strict on rules, people have filled up fuel before on the paddock, do not sure where that came from, and as far as the db level ... I'm sure if my car passes yours will too.

Well passing wise, when I went a couple years back, it's only allowed on the straightaways when the officials signal you & the car in front of you signals you. Otherwise they might black flag you. I find battle endless is pretty loose in regards to passing once you don't drive like an idiot...went to shannonville for a Battle Endless event and it was awesome, a good few FDs :P, no FC love, but it was still awesome, one of the FDs was a fire breathing dragon...lol.

Just here to serve......

Anyways, I don't think I will be able to come out this weekend as I have prior family commitments, but I will do an event in the near future. It sounds like it can be fun, though I will get smacked by the higher HP cars. I am still concerned about noise as the Cougar is very (and I mean very) loud. It is far louder than the RX7. As well, with all the turbo RX7's there, my poor beasty will look very slow with only its baby HP.

If it is a "run what you brung" kinda Unlimited class for all racecars, I will need to bring the Cougar as it will at least have a chance of finishing in the top 10.

great event, the time attack with Turtle, Sasha and Jim was super exciting, lap records were broken with every lap. Got some sweet vids of jim's Flame thrower.

Sasha set the new lap record of 1.16
