Update!

New CSCS video, does a great job re-capping the last event and if you've never been gives you a good understanding of what these days are like:

No drag racing at the event? Just drift and time attack?

I got pwned by the earlier rain and a damp track but at least I managed to catch up to the last guy in my heat (I was the first guy in my heat haha)

It's to build anticipation really,

Run the slow guys first, and the times progressively get faster as the Unlimited guys go last.

We've tried both ways and it is honestly impossible to make everyone happy.

Overall, we're glad you all came out, Andrew I saw you catch that porsche coming in HOT
but then I read about all your issues on facebook
Hope the car's alright.

MIB did you get to experience the rest of the event? Hope you took the time to walk around and enjoy your day

Thanks, I do agree with the building up of anticipation part, that makes a lot of sense, but that should only go so far as setting up the heat orders, within the actual heat itself it should be fastest to slowest, wouldn't be too much effort to arrange it that way before printing out the staging table, and the cars are generally staged more by the staff than the drivers in the staging area anyways.

That being said the rain made everything wonky anyways haha

Rest of the show was ok for me, the full race cars were cool, especially that banged up rally car haha

Mike I got screwed by catching the Porsche, I was on a really good flying lap and thought there was enough gap that I wouldn't catch. Ran a 61.3 in practice in bad traffic so it cost me getting into the later run group. The car should have turned low 60's even with the issues I was having. But its all excuses

Congrats to Jim on a good run, low 60's is a really respectable time. I don't think either of us could catch a race prepped Ferrari lol.

Had a great time as always. See everyone at TMP for the season finale in September.

Andrew.
