Coolant Leak From Accident
I got my 86 home ..looked at the coolant level and it was down so I go ahead and start pourin in coolant..i look under the car and I see coolant on the ground..so find out the rad was poked due to the damage from previous owner(accident)..what i would like to know is will the engine be ok in the cold of winter (currently posted for rad)..car was most likely not run because the fender poked the tire and flattened it..and bearing appears seized on that side,..alot to do..but hey ..IT"S A SEVEN!

I always try to store it with coolant at least in the block. Even like that you still get some corrosion on aluminum and rust on steel parts that are in contact with air.
