Most common RX7 specialty shops are

Rotary dynamics
Mazdees
RPM

I have tried to contact RPM and not had much luck though, but he might be your closest person if he is still in the Cambridge area.

I watched a shop drop my tranny and remove my flywheel in a bout 20 minutes. The clutch is the same neck of the woods as the flywheel

I can do it in 3 hours on my back with the help of a buddy, you don't need a lift, but it sure does help.

You will need the flywheel socket and a breaker bar (if you want to resurface it). Think of it this way, the labor you save will pay for a transmission jack. When all is said and done and the sweat has been washed away and greasy hands cleaned up you'll be equipped for the next time.

BTW, I suggest a racingbeat street strip clutch.

The best write up is a FSM. www.foxed.ca and read up on it, it's pretty easy really.

If you've done FWD transmissions and clutches, a RWD trans (especially Rx-7) is a cake walk!. Drop your drive shaft, starter, take out the shifter, electrical connections, trans mount, and then the bell housing bolts. You're done!

Probably cause I've changed jobs, locations and phone numbers like a billion times in the last year and a half lol.
Shoot me a pm if you need to get ahold of me.

Travis, let me know if I can help you with your clutch. I could do it afterhours at my shop in Kitchener if your interested.
