Clutch Companies.
Clutch Companies.
Like the title says, i need to know good performance, or good long lasting clutch companies.
im picking up an 86 s4 at the end of the month, and i know that ill be killing the clutch.. two companies i have begun to look at are LUK and SPEC. spec was reffered to me by a friend who owns an AE86, and has one in his car, he likes it.. LUK was reffered to me by the fellas at Mister Transmission.. i want to know what everyone else uses.
cheers,
Cody

I've never heard of LUK, but a I have heard great things about SPEC, it seems like a lot of the guys myself included are using the ACT clutches, it's likely the only clutch I will use.

A freind of mine drag races with a Bully clutch and hes tried just about every clutch out there. He likes the Bully and says hes going to stick with it.
ACT is pretty good for street driven cars too.
Theres a place in Burlington that makes clutches called Eurodrive, I've used them with no problems either.

yah im wondering the same thing. where do u guys order them? it seems speedmachine has good prices on flywheels, < their light steel flywheel is actually a racingbeat product >. but for the clutch, theres so many to choose from. i just want something for street use/occasional roadrace track days. 87 NA w/ some mods.
thanks
thanks
ACT street/strip with HD pressure plate seems to be the common thing people go with for the application you described.
right now i'm using a Clutch Masters stage 0 clutch as an OEM replacement and it works good, feels like stock.
most likely i will be going with the ACT though next summer.
