Centerforce II Clutch

Hi,
I own (original owner) a 1982 RX7-GX that has been highly modified. I've got a 13B 6 street ported polished engine along with a 1984 transmission and 4:11 pinion gear, "killer bee" exhaust manifold with a magnaflow exhaust, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
Anyway lately my Centerforce Clutch II has been slipping. I took it in to get the linkage adjusted and so they did that but looks like it's still slipping.
I guess I'm going to have to change the clutch out. So my question is this: is there someone who sells Centerforce II clutch kits here in Canada? I can get them in the US last minute but I was hoping to buy locally. I see the prices are around $290 USD.

Thanks.

Where in Canada are you?

The Centerforce website has a list of their authorized Canadian Dealers here.

Give the ones close to you a call first, and see what they can do for you!

I have known two people with Center Force clutches, not sure if they all have the weights, but on grenaded after about 5k kim's granted he was a retard it blew up, and the other it made wicked rattling noise from the weights.

I would seriously concider going to a ACT clutch if I was in your shoes, lots of guys use them, and they make 3-4times the power of a 12A. Thats if ACT makes one for the 12A...

I think the 13B and 12A discs are inter changeable?

If ACT doesn't make them, look in to EXEDY, they make stock clutches, and ones with upgraded friction material.

I second the ACT clutch. I hated my centerforce clutch. Mine was the one that rattled terribly.

I hated my centerforce clutch. I'm not sure if I'm the retard, but I blew mine up in 1000 or less km. It started slipping like crazy at only 13-14 psi boost on a 35R. Trying to take a run down the strip with semi-slicks was the nail in the coffin. It ate my brand new ACT streetlite F/W too. Not a big fan...
