You can try 5one5 innovations, don't exactly knwo anything about them, but they made this really nice looking fibreglass hood for an FC. I'm sure they can make u a carbon fibre one.

don't bother with one of those hoods. simple fact is they are made with polyester resin, so says Speed machine themselves of the hood.. ployester and carbon fiber do NOT bond. So what your buying is a fabierglass hood with a DRY layer of CF trapped between a very fragile layer of polyester plastic. Best bet is to contact Takakira.co.jp and get them to import one from japan for you.

I had not heard about those problems before.. however I DO know about composites and they make thier hoods exactly the same way those $399 knock off guys do.

However they charge what the market will bare..

LOL oh I was talking about Speedmachine.. I've never had an issue with Takakaria, I have noticed in dealing with allot of Japanese Companies that they are really horrid at return calls ..

5one5 has been off the map lately apparently he's back to working on parts..? not sure.

5one5 is obviously a side business for this fellow and he's usually off working somewhere else.. however I think he's back in 'town' now.. He's working on 240 parts at the moment.. that seems to be where his focus is, for the moment.
