Carb rebuild kit

The carb kit you want is made by a company that goes by two names - either "Hygrade" or "Standard". I usually get the Hygrade kits at CarQuest - I'm sure there's probably a location not to far from you.
Otherwise you -can- use the rebuild kits that partsource and CanadianTire can order, but they're not nearly as good in terms of quality.
When they ask you for a serial number or model number from the carb you'll have to fight with them. Ours -don't- have that. It's just a 4 barrel Nikki for a 79-85 Mazda Rx7. That's it. Keep at it you'll eventually convince them to find it. If they tell you they can't get it or that it's not available (or not without a serial number) just bitch until you find someone who's able to call the right supplier to get it because the guy you're talking to is too lazy.
