Car storage/workshop to rent in the GTA
Me and a friend are looking into getting an older car to restore. We've found a great car to work on, but the problem of storage has come into play. Neither of us live on our own, and our parents will not store it in the garage. Is there a storage space we can rent and also work on the car inside? I have seen Aaron Cake's videos, and he mentioned they rent out a mechanics shop. Any suggestions for storing and working on this car?
Also what is the average price for such a space?

Unless you find a buddy with the space, paying for a working storage unit ( with heat and electricity , or atleast electricity ) will run you in the $ 300-$ 500 on the cheap side, and that's a month.
Not bad if splitting two way, but still, maybe hold off on project for a little while, and tackle small stuff you can do in your parents drive way.

Check kijiji here and there, I've found a spot to store awhile back that was $150 a month. Don't know if I could have worked on it though.
Also purchasing a car with a friend can be a risky situation in the long term. I'm sure your aware of this, but if your not, that's why I'm mentioning it.
