Can't wait for spring/summer!!!
In anticipation for the new season, I gotten a jump on updating the FD.
Ordered some replacement speakers for her as well as an updated stereo deck. (with fines going up to $280 for fiddling with the phone, bluetooth is essential now)
Got a Clarion NX-602 and some Kicker CS speakers to replace my crumbling factory non-bose speakers (poor things were just rattling last season.
)
Next pay day will be tires for the old girl. Hopefully get a group buy going seeing as how alot of my friends are in need of summer rubber.
Looking at picking up some RE11A's.
Maybe by July or Aug I'll have some spare cash to pick up Sakebomb's oil cooler upgrade. The single oil cooler I have is pretty smashed up. I've been meaning to get it replaced for along time. Unfortunately life and lack of funds get in the way.

Bluetooth should have been essential anyways. I'm less concerned about the $155 or $280 fine, that's a one-time hurt. The three years it's rated on your insurance is what really hurts.
Also, keep your eye on Banzai-Racing, they're working on an oil cooler kit.

I love having Bluetooth, I put a deck in my Protege5 with Bluetooth and its so convenient just set a playlist on your phone and don't touch it and if it rings you keep your eyes on the road. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative I guess you could always try and find a set of R1 dual oil coolers as well

Yeah, this winter has been brutal. I can't remember the last time it's been this long and horrible.
Alas, spring is just around the corner.
In the beginning I was looking at just getting the standard duel oil coolers. But the car has a lot more power now. I've upgraded everything else, so the oil cooler was the last thing on my list back in the day. Thankfully I've delegated the car to weekend-nice-day driver, so I wasn't worried about it anymore. Now that I've gotten some time back, I'm revisiting all the things I want to do to the car to finish her up.
The other dream parts I want are the recaro RZ seats. But I've got to stay realistic about these things. It's a "nice to have" not a need.
I agree the Bluetooth was always essential. But I drive my PRHT as my daily driver and that guy has the old nx501 deck in it. It's fantastic. Didn't think I would rely on it so heavily. But it's super convenient to have. Thus I'm getting the slightly more modern version for the FD.
Last time that car received a deck upgrade was when I first got it. Still had a cassette deck back then. Man, has it been that long? I'm pulling out one of the first sony CD players with memory to help with the skipping. That's a 16yr old deck! Lol
I also hope to sort some tuning with the car. It's about 80% there, but still needs some finesse in the street.

I've still got the stock radio/cassette player and speakers in my base '93 FD. They're the last priority on my list of things to upgrade:
1. Fix ABS
2. Fix paint
3. Forged 17" wheels and Michelin Super Sports
4. R2 front spoiler and Series 8 adjustable rear spoiler

Thankfully I've been good at keeping the paint pretty new. Only things I've had to repaint were the front and rear bumpers. And that's due to inconsiderate people on the road/parking area.
What I do need to get repainted are the mirrors. They're the only parts that have faded significantly over the years. Thankfully I picked up a spare set of mirrors which I'll send out to get painted.
Before I get the speakers installed, I'll make sure to have the freshly painted mirrors ready so this way they'll only need to open the door covers once.
There are 2 other minor things I wouldn't mind installing in the car. Getting an auto dim mirror with home link and some led strips to light up the foot wells. Then she'll be almost an exact copy of what I drive day-to-day. Only with a ton more power.

I also still have the oem stereo and I use a cassette adapter for a bootleg Bluetooth.
Looking for some drop in secondary injectors now as injector duty is running close to low 90's and also needa do that fuel pump rewire. Single turbo is on my list somewhere, but I've been experimenting with the twins recently in Guyana and have found a way to make more power and keep the transition period almost unnoticeable. Haven't poked BNR turbos as yet, so can't compare with them as yet bahhaha

To answer the question about Ottawa, I'm not sure when it's taking place. But I wouldn't mind going up there. Gives me a chance to crash at my friends place and hang out with rotary people. What better excuse.
.
I don't mind hearing the car. But there are times when you're taking a passenger when you wouldn't mind having some tunes. Not to mention the fact the phone going off and not being able to see who's calling.
I've got a PFC for my setup. You could try pushing the stock twin setup to those levels, but don't expect the hardware to hold up for long. You're pretty much pushing it beyond what they were originally designed for. That goes for the entire system. Not just the turbos.
My goal was to simplify and make the car more reliable. Single turbo was the way to go. I've got plenty of power without over stressing any system.
Can't wait for the new season to start already!

Ill pencil in the 21st. Hopefully the weather will co-operate.
I miss Cali.
But with any luck, I might be able to attend 7stock again this year.

Nope, not kidding. In Monterey tonight. Rodeo Drive earlier today yielded quite the car selection, Bugatti, Maybach, Ferrari, etc. I wish I owned a Range Rover dealership down here...
