Canadian $ parity = more winter projects?

There's a lot of stuff I've been putting on hold because of laziness/lack of time/negligence and now that it costs less than a loonie to buy one dollar in US currency, it might just be the kick in the butt I needed to do suspension work, finally buy an aluminum AST, and other things I've been delaying.

I'm also considering selling my current 2001 Nissan daily beater to replace it by a brand new US-puchased Versa or other...

I'm ordering Stance's, hopefully the three-ways. Hope that dollar keeps creeping up!

P.S. Canadian prices are now officially the greatest rip off...

http://www.wheels.ca/article/31673 Porsche $33,000 more expensive here!

You can buy a Porsche Carerra 4 for around $70,000 NEW in the states. Here, you cant get it under $100,000.

The only difference is literally the guage cluster, which is a problem until you get it reprogrammed because it only reads in the (one) set speed format.

The exchange rate really isnt as bad as it used to be. I mean classic auto got $300 USD for $307.42 CND ..... Thats only 7 dollars extra, no big deal in my eyes. But maybe if your buying a car the difference is huge.

Just goes to show that Canadians are one of the most gouged consumers in the world. Cars are still selling for tens of thousands more than american counter parts. If the dollar holds long enough, maybe prices will be adjusted..........someday.

^ Dry sump eh? I'd like to know more about how that worked out for you because MFR dry sumps are more expensive than keeping two wives... Mazdee's has a dry sump set up off a Chev retrofitted to a rotary race motor I understand... I'm awaiting spy pics! ha ha

Still loving parity of the dollar here, just ordered 10 -6AN fittings to finish my fuel system for $125.
