Canada-aravan

Any of the Canadian members leaving for DGRR should try to hook up with our group.

We will be leaving at 8PM of April 10th (thursday) from Windsor.

So far the only details I have in stone are that IAN and myself will be meeting at my shop and heading to Terrh's house in Windsor.
From there, the loose plan is meeting at Timmies (awaiting address) in windsor beside a farmers market and would be leaving from there at 8PM.

Consolidated phone numbers from other thread: (here: https://www.rx7club.com/canadian-forum-42/ontario-caravan-deals-gap-717969/ )

Orion84gsl: Chris (519)-619-9668.
Terrh: Daniel (519) 999-1337
SpecFC: Mike (519)890-4070
classicauto: Joe (905)515-1204
IAN: Ian 576-8230
thewird: Marco (416)569-5821

Anyone with questions/wanting to join post up here

the tim hortons is on the corner of pulford and huron church road. Right before it, there's a small farmers market, and a parking lot that stretches between the two. We (or at least our cars) will be meeting there. I plan on drinking as much steeped tea as I can get my hands on until I leave the country.

When you get into windsor from the 401, the 401 itself turns into huron church. It'll be on your right side, about 3 minutes past the college.
mapquest or w/e if you want but it's pretty simple. :P

I don't care what time you guys show up at my shop, but you're welcome to use the garage for car checks or whatever.

I believe Ian had said something about mid morning, but if we aren't leaving until 8pm, he may stop by a little later. But more then likely noonish.

Anyone who could conciveably cruise through T.O. with Ian is more then welcome to join us for the ride from my place to Terrh's

Would it be possible to fit another person (my cousin) in our cottage? He can bring a sleeping bag if necessary.

I have an air mattress I'm bringing for anyone who needs it. It's a queen size and is one of the few ever made that doesn't actually leak air.

Are there any large beds left open? I'd like to not have to sleep on a single with my gf. We like to cuddle n' all, but I dont want to find myself on the floor in the morning.

I called dibs on a queen, but really, as long as I have a matress I'm happy. I suppose a pair of people that paid their share have two votes over my one :P

I think more people in the cottage isn't bad, makes it cheaper for everyone else.

A friend of mine is thinking of coming but I don't know if he is or what. I will post here before it happens, I wanted to ask everyone if they minded anyways, I'm sure noone does though.

Yeah, we could fit another person, but as it stood last i believe one person will have to sleep on the couch, so I'd count on bringing a sleeping bag for more people at this point. I'm bringing a sleeping bag because I'll probably fit better on the floor then any of the beds anyway. Besides, hard surfaces are good for my bad back lol

Also, keep in mind that if they haven't paid Phil and registered for DGRR, then they won't have a spot at the meals or a shirt etc.

As far as payments go I'll have to check, but I know orion and terrh were going to pay me when we meet up, and IIRC thewird and IAN and I *think* someone else have paid me for their share of the room. I'll check my pay pal though.

I'm sure the couch/floor of the cottage beats him sleeping in my GTR.

that video was ridiculous.

here's hoping for a cop-free evening!

I have no problems with doing the speed limit while you're there. It's like 55mph or something ridiculous. I'm sure 55mph through those corners is plenty of fun.
