Is there a time in mind for this shindig? I have volunteer work in the morning, and work an evening shift (4-12), but if it's somewhere 1-2ish I could put in an appearance hopefully...

2pm sounds like it will work. So I guess we will meet in the same parking lot as last time?

Hey Alak (S.)--- thanks for getting the word out to Karla. I just bought her '85 GSL for Tiana to drive. That's my 5th 1st gen, all five of which have been the GSL package.

She was NOT happy to part with it and feeling sorry for her, we allowed her to take it for one more drive after the sale. But she insists that we still keep the name she gave it: Sexy Rexy--- her forum name. Uh, I don't think so Karla, but if we ever sell it we'll pass that along to the new owner, ok?

The car needs a few things though: door locks (because a couple of punks tried to steal it before she scared them off), new tires, air conditioning fixed and a rear window sprayer nozzle replaced.

Looks like I'll make the meet after all, at least for a while. I'll be setting up my DJ equipment early (around noon) and don't have to be back in Priddis for it until 7pm. Tiana and I will bring both cars.

We'll be there, but we just got the safety inspection back for this car ( '85 GSL) and a few surprises came up. We are therefore looking for:

One right rear brake caliper assy in good working order (the e-brake mechanism on ours is seized).

Two rear brake discs.

Two 195 (or 185)-70-13 tires with decent tread left.

The car also needs one ball joint replaced, as well as fronts shocks and brake hoses, but these items need to be new and installed at a shop since we're not equipped to do this in the garage.

All told, almost $1300 in parts and labour (not including the tires) if I were to have all of the work done. This will be reduced to less than $900 if I do the brakes and tires myself.

Does anybody have any of these components laying around that they'd like to sell?

Still a showing! If the weather sucks we'll group up and hit Denny's on McLeod. Free refills on pop fits in line with Seans allowance.

Well, my friend is out of town and his FC was down anyways(new ecu and wiring harness), so I probably wont be coming. We should try again next weekend or the following weekend since there wont be alot of people going due to weather and other plans.

Nice it will be the Alak/RXBrendan Mini-meet . Now I just need to find out where the hell Glenmore park is Anyone have any directions? Do you just take Glenmore to the Crowchild South exit that turns into 24th st?
