Brake Work

Who does good work in and around the GTA. I have a feeling I need a whole new system but dont feel like getting raped by Mazda.

technically, they are ok

they work and all. just feel spongy alot of the time and a horrible crunching sound comes from the front when they are applied under power. its an 88 vert

Do it in the driveway, save yourself some money. It's generally pretty straight forward, as long as you know how to use basic tools. Get yourself a shop manual and a free afternoon. The spongy feeling is probably bad brake fluid. Change that out and throw on some steel braided lines instead of the stockers. If your calipers are in really rough shape have them rebuilt, or also do that yourself. You'll save a ton of money that way.
