MB Belts, hoses

When it ever warms up here in Manitoba, I want to replace all the belts and coolant hoses on my 88 vert. Where do you guys obtain them? I asked my local Mazda dealer and he said " some were not obtainable" Big help.
So where do I go?
Mike

I just went to the local parts store and got the Belts for my Car when I had to replace mine. The Total was under 40.00.
The store was Partsource.Try Napa, they should be able to help you.

Agreed, lots of aftermarket options out there. The dealer needs to be more specific on what is not available - that normally applies to early RXs of the 70s and even then you can still get lots of parts. I've come across parts guys at certain Mazda dealerships who made outlandish claims when they couldn't find the part number.

Thanks guys, I'll try our local NAPA guys. They have a complete exhaust system for a 88 n/a for around $500.00. I wonder if the gutted cat system I have is not actuating the ports due to lack of back pressure. What's your take on this guys? How do I know if the port sleeves are turning?

Check the split air pipe going from the Gutted cat to the Engine.
The Gutted cat WILL make enough back pressure to activate your Ports.
You can check the Movement by reaching down on the passenger side and Trying to Push the plunger on the Ports Actuator.if is is Seized, you can take them off and attempt to free them up with a Good Penetrating Spray.
500 Bucks for an Exhaust?.Holy Shick razor blades Batman!..Shop around!.I got an Racing Beat on my N/A 3 years ago for WAY less than that.Remember, you Can't put on Cheapo glass packs. The engine's exhaust will burn them up.Waste of money.
