Talking BARC Wants Us to Go Lapping During Lunchtime at Mosport July 1st Weekend

Just to let you guys know and to see if there is enough interest. In light of our enthusiasm in showing up at Mosport in May and at Shannonville in June, Dave Hilton, V.P. of the organising club BARC, wants to know if we would like to have another Mosport Big Track Lapping Session at lunch on Sunday July 1st.

This would be just like the last one and we would be following the pace car around the track for about 30 minutes and at a pace that will be increased until we start to string out. It was a ton of fun last time and it would be great to have more cars out this time.

There will be a number of races including the Touring GT Championship and the Ontario Formula Ford Championship as well as Sprint races, Solo 1 and Historic classes.

Oh yeah admittance to Mosport for the races, camping, pit access, as well as the on-track lapping will be free again.

I will organise it if we get 10 confirmed attendees. Unfortunately my car is down waiting for its new motor, but I will show up to organise at track.

Eric

Lates,
Unless Charrs car is a Japanese car, you weren't "driving" you were a passenger. Does sound like a good time, might have to try and make it out to this.

Maybe we should post this on the RX-8 club and RX-Club of Ontario forums as well?

I've posted a link on the RX-8 board. I doubt many will come except for a few RX-8's I know personally... and even then, they'll probably think of an excuse...

Lates,
"an excuse" kinda like red FD owners

lets see you take that shiny red beast on the track chris. don't worry, a pace car will be keeping people below 120 km/hr likely!!

I might represent the "stock" protege drivers

Yes. They are available off of the CASC website ahead of time or you can show up at the track, go to registration and get a free ticket.
