Dave, I don't really know what you're dealing with either, but I'm reminded of a few situations in the past where elusive problems ended up being engine problems and not so much the components around it. Sticky seals can be difficult to diagnose when they teeter between stuck and unstuck with temperature.

You should pick up and move closer to our neck of the woods for all the RX7 support you could wish for....especially since you're talking steak dinner and all

I got an Aftermarket pressure system on the car...I can set it to whatever.
I set at 38 PSI...I go to 50..the Results are the same..No matter what the pressure is.
It is a Y fed to Parallel rail system(Reted's posted Setup.) to a Sard regulator and a Gauge on the Secondary rail..

Does the car only die when you slam on the gas? If you ease on the gas will the car react normally?

Do you have a wideband O2 hooked up or any way of monitoring the A/F ratio? It would be nice to know what's going on that it dies. I'm guessing that it's leaning out. It could be that you have a bad wire going from one of the sensors to the ecu. It sounds like a tps or afm problem. Try doing continuity tests on all of the signal wires for your tps and afm to the ecu plug. Also make sure that the ecu is supplying the reference voltages to the sensors. If all of the wiring checks out all you can do is backprobe the sensors and hook them up to a lab scope or DVOM to see if they are working properly. Too bad you didn't still have that Rtek, you could be datalogging all of your sensors to see what is going on.

The Rtek was just Confusing me,.I went back to "basic" so I would know What the heck I was dealing with..so far I haven't got that Quite Figured out.
I did get a Good Sign though Today, sort of a brain fart/Brain storm idea, I am gonna persue it,.
..My Question though is what would be effects of running with NO TPS connected?

Hey Styx;
I saw the NA wiring harness reference.
A listing of the history/symptoms might help speed your recovery.

A few questions:
Was this car/wiring running fine prior to the recent problems?

Does the car start/idle well until you hit the gas?
Any smoke (blue/grey) while idling after the initial start?
Any smoke when it dies?

Does the car bog/die when you touch the gas slowly?
What have you tested so far?

Cheers

I am not that good myself (you can tell from my other posts) besides doing maintenance stuff but might as well giving a shot of what "I THINK/I HEARD/I READ"

From what i understand when you do any alteration on the throttle plate the tps should send a singal ranging from complete off ~ wide open according to the flap/plate/or whatever that thing is call in the TB. Then the ECU corrects some other things from the fuel system according to the fuel map coded in the ECU based on these singal sent from the TPS. Assuming the tps has been bypassed in someway or disconnected and the ecu assumes that singal as a static value, let say it assumes to be at 100% or something. Any increase on the throttle(air) itself will require additional fuel to maintain certain AFR for it to not stall, but since the TPS singal didn't change, so the engine dosen't get enough fuel to keep running.

Most likely i am worng, but dosen't hurt to type
