Harper's a fawking ****. I'm voting NDP because I don't trust that crazy bitch, and I don't support Corporate Sponsorship.

Whoever has the better chance of knocking the Liberals out of power gets my vote.

Harper scares me. Would you have wanted our troops in an unjust war in Iraq? How about partners with the US in a scary, unnecessary missile defence plan?

the only **** in this campaign is Martin.

banning guns from law abiding citizens?? that is exactly what hilter did before the war, so he could slaughter everyone easier.

removing the notwithstanding clause???? that would give the judges 100% power (just like the USA). and since martin appoints the judges, he would have 100% power. instead of now where the people have the overall power through their MP's votes.

banning weapons from space?? there has been an international law on this since the 70's. I think his head is in outer-space. is he so desperate he's trying to steal votes from the green party?

and I really liked his ad on the military. I saw a war vet standing on a busy street comer the next day protesting against it. way to go martin, lets **** off old war vets.

If this thread is going to have any credibility, you guys need to stop sounding like gradeschoolers and stop talking out of your asses, starting with all the comparisons to national socialism (that's ****, for all you guys that just like to use the term but have no clue what it really stands for.)

banning guns from law abiding citizens?? that is exactly what hilter did before the war, so he could slaughter everyone easier.
Ummm, yeah, you got us. Martin will win the election, then his henchemen will take away our guns, then line us all up around mass graves and shoot us in the back. Or maybe he'll send us to RX-7 Camps, where our hard work rebuilding engines will earn us our freedom...

...anyway, vote PC!!! Even of you don't like Harper, we do need a change, and Layton is not up to the task, especially if he keeps talking about Ed Broadbent like he's his guiding light!

1st I love a good political debate! 2nd, you NDP voters out there, a vote for the NDP is voting for the end of Canada. The NDP has bankrupted every province when they got into power. 3rd, without corporations, who would pay for our healthcare etc??? I mean really! I understand the problem between PC and Liberal, but the NDP???? You might as well vote for the Green Party or the Christian Heritage Party. All you have to do is look at the NDP track record and your questions will be answered. I have a good analogy: The NDP would pay kids who work at McDonalds $18.00 per hour and then bitch because Big Macs were $14.99 each, or expect McDonalds to stay in business and make it law that they cant charge more than $2.99 per sandwich and wonder why they went bankrupt

I've spoiled my ballot the last few years. Each party has screwed us in the past. Until there is a dramatic change F em' all. And don't vote Green, they want to raise the taxes on fuel!!!

This is a rotary forum, not a political debate forum. Threads like these always get out of hand so I'm closing it now.

Let's just say I've got an orange sign on my lawn and I have my own reasons for it. You can all vote whatever you like, but I would just like to encourage everybody to go and read all the platforms of the various parties before voting. It helps to watch the debate too. That way you can make an educated vote on what you believe.

Official Party Websites:
http://www.ndp.ca/
http://www.greenparty.ca/
http://www.liberal.ca/default_e.aspx
http://www.conservative.ca/english/index.asp

Make your own choices people, just make them for GOOD reasons.

Jon
