Just a thought though Ryan.

I'm impressed that you've semi admitted to some type of somethign resembling fault. Since I'm realyl not interested in the sticky, how about you give me my money back? Thats fair.

EDIT: And if its not too much to ask, could we maybe the title changed to addressing Joe's "gripe" instead?

Exactly, you got in touch with me how many times about a $22 mag subscription but never mentioned $200 of advertising fees? That seems worth it to me.

I'm sorry it happened, seriously. But all the Mods know that advertising should only go through me for just that reason, why Merciless negotiated something on my behalf I don't know, it shouldn't have happened.

If you're just too determined to be mad there's nothing I can do, I offered up an honest apology, what more do you want? If you'd rather have some other form of advertising for the $200 let me know.

Should I have had to? Should every penny I spend with you have to be chased from your hand to its final destination by myself? Bo you buy your own groceries for cryin out loud?

Tell me, what would have been the outcome had I bitched about the money before right now? I'm sure you'd have rushed to my aid just like you did with those magazines.

Its because you run a loose ship. Again, not my fault and I shouldn't be held accountable for not chasing you to do the job you were paid for and being bitter about it. Whoop de doo, you screwed up and pissed someone off, I'm sure this isn't a new concept to you.

Joe, I NEVER knew about your advertising deal, and you NEVER said a word to me. This is the first I've ever heard of it, and I have no problem trying to fix the situation.

The whole magazine thing just totally pisses me off. How many times have you harassed the other 1/2 of the magazine? How many times did you harass our publisher who repeatedly failed to deliver? How many times did you harass the Canadian Postal Service who lost thousands - literally thousands - of magazines meant for Canadian subscribers?

Simple, none. Why? Because I'm the easy target. I'm really sick of it. I went so far out on a limb to try and create the magazine, something us rotarheads could call our own, and it was a huge mistake on my part. I got screwed by everybody in the entire process, and lost probably $10K out of my own pocket, for what? I put out 18 incredible issues, I created soemthing pretty damn cool for rotary guys. But in the end I was the only person who wanted to keep it going, everybody else bailed on me ... and left me holding the bag. And you know what, I spoke to somebody pretty 'big' in the rotary world just last Friday about bringing it back. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I could, even though I know it would fire up my ulcer again.

Get over it already Joe. I'm here trying to fix what was nothing more than a misunderstanding, and you're trying to keep hostilities going.

Well its hard for anyone to feel sorry for you when you yourself can't deliver.

FYI, I called the post office many times. The rest of it (even the post office) isn't my prob to solve, ITS YOURS. It was your mag, and your promise. If they bailed on you, tough cheese. Man up and fix the problem.

Did your partner tie you down and prevent you from sending the mags you promised to over a year ago? The ones you sent out last week during another "me asking for mags" episode? No. It was you and your lazy, excuse makign self doing exactly what your doing now.

I appreciate that you tried to start something, I lvoed the mag. But you failed and you failed to make it right which is far worse then failing in the first place.

EDIT: If $200 is your offer then I'll take it back please (you've got my pay pall addy). I'll recover my loss in any way I can......

^ So you are saying that all the subscribers deserted you, Causing the mag to end? Or did the sponsors drop, you packed up your **** and got the heck outta dodge, leaving the subscribers high and dry? I really wanna know. If everyone else is lying, then tell me the truth

I've laid out what happened on this forum probably 100 times already, I really don't care to do it again. And I don't care to defend myself anymore to judgemental people with no knowledge of the facts. I've explained it probably another 100 times in emails to people who have contacted me offline.

The two biggest reasons why things fell apart with the mag are the Canadian Postal Service and advertisers who never paid their bills. Both cost us thousands of dollars, money we didn't have. If you want to make it a personal I'm better than you pissing match, go right ahead. I have plenty of success under my belt for someone who's such a piece of ****.

If you want a refund I'll send it, just give me a couple days for funds to clear my account.

You know, you'd think you might have posted it in a large explanitory message that was in plain view for everyone to read when the mag went under.

But how did we find out? We had to hound you. Gee I'm starting to see a pattern.

Well, I see you've stickied my thread so I suppose that means you've righted the wrong here. I guess all thats left is I bitch about you please changing the title of this thread to reflect reality, but you don't do it, so I keep bitching, and you forget, so I get angry and post another thread about your relentless let downs? Is that how it works?

EDIT: wait wait I retract, you're actually goign to refund me. Wow I completely admire that Ryan, thats in all honesty and sincerity. It doesn't mean I like you. It just means you've actualyl done somethign respectable.

Stop being so judgemental Joe, I'll do whatever to fix the mistake. Being so self-righteous about everything serves only your own vanity. Relax, sorry I didn't change the title while eating dinner and replying to this and other threads.

So Boostd7, here is my response. If you don't like people talking about things without proper knowledge on the situation, then "enlighten" us. Thing is, all I have to go on is what others have posted. You say they are all lies, yet refuse to tell your side of the story because you are too tired and have told it 100 times already....problem is, some of us have not heard it, therefore, based on what is before us, you look like the ***. And then people's post get deleted when you don't like what they say (fikren's post ring a bell) ....

So enlighten us...
P.S. IF you don't feel like typing it out, how bout ya post one of those hundred weblinks where you have already worked so hard to explain it?

Wow! I know you guys both personally and to comment on this matter would be Irrelevant on my part. I hope you guys have come to terms with what has happened and what can be done In the future to prevent this from re-ocurring.

And, PLEASE, resolve this fast. The Canadian Forum doesn't need all this dramacy. It was fine and boring before all this **** started.
