There were 3 or 4 last year including my wife. She might not come this year since we have a 7 month old foster child. It is still a couple of months away so things might change.

Hey double_J, I think your wife had a good time last year.

I understand there is a new Best Western Plus in Walkerton, which may be appealing to the wife who wants creature comforts and privacy...if you know what I mean.

For me, I prefer hardship and alone time. That's what an RX7 and 20 years of marriage will do to you.

More or less. We have to modify the route slightly because we won't be in Chesley this year. Other than that the route should be pretty much the same.

If you are open to suggestions...
Along the route we usually go, I believe we pass by some unique waterfalls. I'm not familiar with the names, it might be Eugenia or Inglis. It has a parking lot for pictures, a lookout point over the falls, with a small old historic mill, and a walking trail following the gorge. But in July, the water may not be flowing. Just something different, for an out-of-towner.
The other idea is Southampton sunsets on Lake Huron are suppose to be spectacular. And after the sunset, we can cruise at dusk...
Just some ideas.

I think the falls you are talking about are Inglis Falls just outside Owen Sound. We travelled relatively close to them last year, maybe 7 or 8 KM away on our route back from Owen Sound. There is a bit of an area for pictures with the cars, but not really with the falls, just the wide river at the top. Its quite nice though.

We travel somewhat close to Sauble Falls as well, though those aren't as nice and don't have any good parking area for pictures with the cars.

Yeah, Inglis Falls is what I had in mind. But I didn't realize it was that far out of the way.

Ya I can talk to the other organizers about other possible pit stops. The falls is actually a good idea. I've been there and they are really nice. Also, being we go through Owen Sound twice we could probably incorporate a stop there. It's not too far out of the way.

Have a ticket also, got one from Neo still have not heard directly from Mazda, as in the past. Thinking BCM Friday- Saturday and Sunday Mazda Corral - Mobil 1 Grand Prix of Mosport, get the best of both worlds. Take Monday off to recover!

I find it is easy to miss threads when they get stickied to the top. Maybe others are not as visually challenged lol
