Dennis asked the crew how many gallons of fuel it would take to get the the track, four apparently, and he then proceeded to drive past the car hauler out onto the public roads (much to the surprise of the crew!). "It was a nice day for a ride and the four rotor needed to go to Road Atlanta...If I got stopped I was going to tell them I was looking for the trailer!" The car ended up on display in the competition paddock with American Le Mans Series logos affixed.

Yep, true story obviously. I ate at Jeffrey's twice during Petit week. The car sat between the victory podium and the Panoz display tent the duration of the weekend. It sounded pretty crazy the one time I heard it start up. The word at the track was that Spencer will have an ALMS entry next season...

 

I would have loved to see that on the street!!! Fastest way to get pulled over!! LOL
