1993 Fd Deal!!

Read the following email I recived below and then someone please loan me the $!!! lets make some kind of deal on a resell?...

Hello there,
I have received your email regarding my car. First of all I have to
tell you that I am located in Berlin/Germany and I'll ship my car from
here and I'll cover the fees for the ship and insurance to your home
address. The car is in immaculate condition and has no scratches on and hasn't been involved in any accident.
The motor runs very well. The tires are almost new.
I don't want to get rich by its selling, just want to give it to
someone who will take good care because I can no longer drive it....
From the moment we start the transaction, the car will arrive to your
door in 7 days top.
The final price is 3,000.00 US dollars and I will take care of the
shipping charges.
No money first to me - i will receive money after you will receive the
car. The transaction will be made under eBay's buyer protection plan.
For payment, I'll like to use an eBay service, so we'll be both
protected.
I am a seller affiliated with eBay-SquareTrade-autos. I want to make the
transaction in a very safe way. Square Trade will guarantee this
transaction between us. They will intermediate our transaction so we
are both protected. There is of course a service charge for this service but I
pay that.
Square Trade also required me a deposit that can cover the transaction
twice. This amount will be in their possession until you will receive
the car and another 15 days more. So, this is the warranty and the
seller has no reason to lie or to steel the buyer money.
They are accting like a third party in this deal. Also, I have to let
you know that I want a proof that you have all the money availble for
this deal as I will shipp it in the same day or next day morning, after
you proove to me that you are the real buyer.
Since this deal will be made using a THIRD PARTY to help us closing
this deal, I prefer honnest buyers. Anyway,if you want more details
about this deal, please reply with the following informations:
-Your full name;
-Your shipping address;
I'm a serious seller and a fair trader and I prefer to deal only with a
serious buyer. If you consider yourself one please e-mail me back so we
can start our deal.
I will look for your email, so that we can move forward with this deal!
Regards,

well his whole third party/ebay thing sounds convicing but i dont beleive this one bit. Shipping from berlin to you house will eat up half of that 3000 cost.....so 1500usd to him for the car? No one is that stupid yet capable of shipping a car to canada.

But id love you to prove me wrong....it would be a sick deal

That email scam and a couple of similar 'Craiglist' scams have been floating around for many months. Stay away.

I know excattly what you mean, I thought as i was first reading it that something was off but being under Ebay's buyer protection thing and haveing to give no money till the car arrives, really what is there to lose?.... I just dont have any money or i would be telling him to set it up

from what he is saying i just cant seem to see a risk on my(our) side so if someone knows any diff please inform us...

Its a total scam! I just read about how it works, the money goes to the third party first only the third party is actually the scam artist who is claiming to sell said item, they are fake escrow services and the sellers tells you that the money has to be transferd to the third party through westren union. Now Aint That Something! gut told me something was not right ad now i am glad i posted it and looked more into it. it really is a well written scam its only his low price that makes one think harder about it.

For all the money this scammer intends to make, you would think he could run his damn ad thru a spellcheck or something.

Total scam!

here is the ebay link for the car, see i saw it last night and emailed him asking if his ad was possibly wrong, and the above is the email I recived back, after i read it i knew something just was not right about it, you can look up and read about ebay auto scams, so everyone please beware when bidding on things online.

No kidding, I should have put FD deal on my ad for my FC :P lol

I dont know how they dont get caught with money handleing company's involved that are legit at some point in the transaction one would think there would be some sort of trail to the scammer, there is reporting agencies for online scams and I have reported this one already, but i doubt anything will ever become of it.

its funny he reset all the bids on the car after sending me the email had 15 bids and was up to 7000.00 its now back down to his asking of 3k lol Im going to write him back now and see what next he has to say :P

Request to see the car in person. Tell him your going to visit your mom or something close to where he is and you want to see it.
