Anyway I agree and think it should either be postponed or moved to where it'll be sunny... like toronto.

We've dealt with the rain before and still had a blast, and if we have to do it again this yr so be it. Also, there are several somewhat contradicting weather forcasts for this weekend, so you dont know what its gonna be till we get there tomorrow.
Last yr they called for a complete ****/rainy weekend, and it cleared up saturday afternoon and was great on sunday. WERD

You guys are a bunch of whiners. A little rain never hurt anyone who are you neo that you will melt if a drop hits you or your car? Last years meet was good the rain didn't bother us much. So suck it up and come out rain or shine!!!

This meet is as much about chillin with people as it is the cars.
So I'll see you all there tomorrow. (Just might not want to spend too much time washin the car is all...)

Lookin forward to it, although I don't drive mine in the rain, I'll make an exception if I can get it cleaned up enough from getting caught in the rain for only the 2nd time ever on Wednesday.

Well guys, it was a great meet considering the weather. Saturday was cold and rainy but many hardcore guys made it out anyway. These meets couldn't happen without you!!
The cruise was fun as always, since the weather did help us out after breakfast. But, once again, it was not incident free, eventhough the pace was very leasurely!! Stupid mechanical problems
Thanks to Will/Stacey for everything, and cheers to all the new people I met.

Man, I must say, and on behalf of the Mx-3 crew, thanks for everything. The hospitality of the Rx-7 guys is always great and very inviting (unlike other Mazda clubs).
As always, it was a pleasure to be there, and as long as we're welcome, we'll (and especially me) will be there next year.
One thing I've always wondered is why other Mazda clubs don't participate in this event. Oh well, they don't know what their missing.

Saturday's weather and Sunday's cruise directions aside, it was a blast.
Big thank-yous to all who attended for being there, and for putting up with the cameras. Extra thank-yous to Will for letting so many goofballs track dirt into his house, and to Mark, the Chrises and Tony for their co-operation on the drive home; the end segment of this year's video will be something special.
A last to Mr. Anderson for his generosity and accomodation - you made my attendance this weekend possible.
With a little luck, the video will be available in a few weeks. I have a bucketful of material to sort through...

As usual, a very successful cruise! Dispite the awful, awful weather!!!
I still don't know why more RX-8's don't come out to these type of events. Hopefully Galaxy_8 will help change that trend!!
Big thanks to Big ***** & Stace for their hospitality!! Better believe we'll make it for the roofing job...
Big props to the Feds for giving some of us a place to crash and have home cooked breakfast the next morning!!!
All the hardcore MX-3 guys!! Every year you guys never fail to impress us. You guys are just as hardcore as the RX-7 guys.
Amur finally got all the video footage anyone could possibly want. And I'm sure the final result will be "smashing!"
Thanks to everyone who made it out!! Like eVilRotor said, these type of events would never happen if it weren't for people like yourselfs.
I must say, we ended the Ottawa cruise in grand style. Har would know what I'm talking about...
Favorite sentence "Hold on, he's turning right. *5.7Lt V10 engine screaming up to 6000-7000rpm and then shifting into 2nd* Everyone: OOOOHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! LOL
Lates,
P.S. Can anyone guess which car we saw that made that beautiful sound?!?!

despite the weather and a few incidents (myself included), it was a great weekend as usual.
good to see everyone who came out, and thanks again to Will/Stacey for hosting at their place.
can't wait to see pics/video everyone took, and it sounds like the Toronto guys had a fun time on the way back.

Despite the weather, this weekend was a blast! I'd like to thank everyone for showing a newb some luv, and a special thanks to Will and Stacey for their hospitality this weekend! It was my first Ottawa meet, and I'm looking forward to next year's already!!
Thanks to the Chrises, Rich, Mark and Milana (I hope I spelt your name right!) for making me feel so welcome! I'm looking forward to some more good times with y'all!
Rich, thanks for including me in your pics and vids. I'm really looking forward to them all! It takes real dedication to take that much footage, you're hardcore dude!
Thanks for tagging along on the cruise Leigh! Sorry for the slow ride, but we made it alive (my little slide was just to make sure you were still awake! hee, hee!).
It was good to see some nice MX-3's come with us (I had one for 8 years!).
All in all, it was a memorable experience. Great people, great cars and great times! Couldn't have asked for more, except maybe a little sunshine.
Later!
P.S. I tried to post this earlier, but I don't think it went through. If it did, sorry in advance for the repost!

thanks a bundle for the ride in your wonderful rx8 Tony. you're right...with another 60hp that thing would be a blast!!
you didn't make me fall asleep (like other rx8 drivers) but it was the toxic chemicals coming from Neo's exhaust that were causing me to get sleepy!! get that engine looked at Chris.
we'll see you at the next "hardcore" meet Tony. thanks
Leigh

Speaking of which. It must be my driving. As my Daughter falls asleep everytime in the car.

This may in fact be the least expensive Ottawa meet for me thus far!
(Past years have averaged out to approx $350.00 not including fuel/food/accomodation)
I was almost home free until Hector decided he didnt like the colour of his bumper and wanted to see what montego blue would look like mixed with red...(You know, Rich coulda photochoped you a pic...you didnt have to go for the live sample)
Thanks to Will/Stacey (and anyone else involved in planning. Jason perhaps?), and Kristen's parents (I wonder if they read these boards!) for the roof for the night.
No thanks to the rain (although it gives me pleasure to see Sanchez cringe with every drop of rain that hits his car), and Leigh trying to poison my friend with uncooked chicken. (Brown people arent all bad man...Stop the hating!).
Jamie's green-machine hauls pretty good. I was impressed at how it pulls. I might have to invest in an FB of my own (and do a Veyron engine swap).
Sadly, we did not get to hit up Pig-als. We were looking forward to it, but after the events which transpired, and the poor weather, no one was in the mood and just wanted to head home. And good thing we did, or we would never have seen the saucy supercar at the sunoco. Pure sex that thing is. Pictures dont do it justice. Even video on Top Gear doesnt do it justice. I would take it over an enzo.
Best part of the weekend, the 1 GB of early 90's dance/techno/hip-hop I loaded up on the i-pod. Memories...
