Would anybody suffer undue hardship if the date changed from Saturday April 23rd to Sunday April 24th. There have been a number of requests from both here and the 8 club. For our first meet I would like the date of most potential participation. Just putting out feelers at this point.

Depends on start time and how late it goes. Personally, I'd prefer Saturday only because of the distance. I wouldn't have to rush back. Plus, people could stick around and do 'Saturday night things.'

Just a thought.

The only disapointing thing about this meet is that I won't be able to see many of the RX-7's you guys have, to bad it's to early to pull them out!

Looking forward to getting together, I can be there either day but prefer the Sunday.

I think some drivers suffer from superman syndrome. What I mean is Superman runs like a sissy from krypotonite.

Fd drivers run the same way from the mention of salt. Some drivers like Neo have gone to the level of super superman syndrome. He starts quivering if the weatherman mentions rain.

Just kidding, anyhow I know alot of drivers are trying to get ready for the Ottawa meet and this one was abit of a surprise. But don't worry it looks like we are going to have a great turn out for the first meet.

If its on the Sunday I'll be there for sure. No car though, I don't bring mine out untl May now cuz last year it was still snowing in late April. Nothing big, but now I can't say that the car has never seen snow. Thats gotta suck.

Well speaking personally I don't take my car out until at least the last week of April or early May because Ottawa is full of salt and debris from the winter. I'd rather wait the extra 2 weeks for that crap to be washed/swept away than ruin my car. We're actually lucky this year, the street-sweepers have been out since yesterday (or maybe a couple days ago). Since it's started to rain and the weather is looking good for the next while, us here in Ottawa might be lucky enough to take our cars out even earlier this year. You people who haven't visited Ottawa around this time should definitely come see what I'm talking about...the amount of salt they use here is gross. I should take pics of the streets here :P

Lawyers Spirit,

You can be pretty sure that here in over-salted TO, that you need to wait until first week in May to take your car out. At the end of my street there is STILL a inch of undissolved salt cakes - AND it rained like hell yesterday. Can't understand why anyone wants to rush it - they ain't making any more 7's as far as I know...

I drive my -SE all winter, normally. This year she's been in the shop more than on the road...
Just got the rear-end rust all gone, so with a fresh undercoating and an annual trip to Krown, I have no rust worries
