Will make a check list to go over tomorrow.

I was also told it could be the cas? Could that be a possible problem too?

The CAS rarely goes bad. If you had a spare you plug it into the harness and w/key to on you spin the CAS wheel and you should hear a click come from the primary injectors and plugs.

Just a little update.

I removed the cats, didn't help.
I swapped ecus, didn't help.
I filled it up with new gas, didn't help.

There seems to be some relay that kicks in/off under the dash. Not sure what it is. However, when it clicks the car seems to die shortly after. This may be a coincidence, but I am not sure.

I will be posting a video shortly.

Anybody have any thoughts?

There is one relay under the dash which is the circuit opening relay. The relay governs power to the fuel pump. Previously you were asked to jumper the fuel check connector but you stated this didn't help any. You might want to try the jumpering at this relay itself. The relay is Black and Yellow w/a White plug connected to it perhaps and it's located just to the right of the steering column. The plug has 5 wires, 3 on top and 2 on the bottom row. The wires on the bottom are Black and Brown. These are the same two wires in the fuel check connector. Maybe there is a poor connection between the check connector and the relay so jumper the bottom two wires to see if it makes a difference. When jumpered the Blue wire in the plug should have voltage w/key to on and it will also have voltage w/key to start. The Blue wire runs to the fuel relay near the AFM which then connects to the fuel pump thus it is imperative that the Blue wire has power when it is supposed to so the pump can be powered correctly. If the jumper was not in place the Blue wire would still have power w/key to start for that is how the car starts. Once started and the voltage climbs above 500 rpm the other relay within the relay takes over to keep the car running. It is this relay which uses the Brown wire for the ground source. The Brown wire normally gets its ground source from the AFM as well as the fuel check connector. And you could also be having a problem w/the relay from an internal perspective regardless of whether it gets a ground on the Brown wire.

Going to try that relay later today. Other than that nothing really new. Just trying to get the garage organized for winter .

Located the sensor:

I think my battery is low as my car just cranked and didn't make an effort to turn over. Will charge the battery tonight and try again tomorrow morning.

Testing the relay when disconnected is not definitive. It needs to be tested while plugged in as mentioned.

Oh yeah sorry I just removed it to match some relays I have laying on the shelf in case.

I know when I removed the sensor and swapped it the car just cranked. I will jump the two wires tomorrow night or morning depending on my schedule.

Do you think using a wire to connect the two is adequate?

That's the only real way to do it for just shove the end of the wire into the back of the plug where the pertinent wires reside.

Will do that.

I'm charging the battery right now.

Recently a friend picked up a car that acted just like yours...AFM plug was corroded and there was a split in the turbo inlet duct causing a vacuum leak.
