trying to bring the old 7 back

hello everyone, is been a longggggg time since i got in here, anyways i have a gxl with a T2 swap that was leaking oil from the housings and decided to get the engine out and fix it lol (that was more than 5 years ago). now i still have the car and want to build it again, when i took the engine out i check the compression and it was 110 on both faces, now my question is can i use the same apex seals even if they've been sitting for such a long time???? also the apex seals are 2 pieces and when i was taking the engine apart i lost one of the small pieces, i've been searching around and mazda and atkins have 2 piece apex seals, is there a way too know which apex seals i have. i've been out of the game for a long time.

Post a picture of what they look like. There's a spec for apex seal wear in the FSM as well, so yes, they are reusable.

Mazda OEM seals are 3 piece. That includes triangular-shaped corner seal. Post some pics of what you're working with (including rotors, housings, irons, etc. That'll help determine the piece you need, along with any recommendations for replacing other parts. You should always do a thorough inspection of all parts when tearing down an engine.
