convertible to hard top

Are you asking about installing a hard top or cutting and welding to turn it into a coupe?
I don't think there was ever a factory hard top offered for FCs, but you could make one if you're skilled enough at fabrication. You cannot safely convert it into a coupe permanently though, if that's what you're looking for. This was asked not long ago and you can read the reasons why in that thread.
This is one of those "if you have to ask" questions. I don't like saying that because it discourages people, but what you're basically asking in either case is whether it's possible, and the answer is technically yes. But most of the people who are able to complete this sort of project already have the knowledge. If you really want to do this (don't), I would recommend you start with many smaller projects and build up your skills until you're comfortable taking on something big.
IMO, the vert is already a pretty nice car. It's not super light or rigid, but they're still cool. I highly recommend just enjoying it as-is.
