stage 2 rtek7 question

im intrested in getting the stage 2 rtek7 ecu upgrade for my NA 87 fc.
will it add a significant amount of power? and is it worth doing on a NA?
its a 5 speed gxl with 67K hks intake and corksport catback.

thanks, joe

First, wrong section of the forum, you wont get nearly as many views here. Secondly if all you have is an intake and catback you wont get that many gains. The s4 doesnt have a nasty rish spot like s5 n/a's do(around 6300 wot) to tune out for gains.

IMO more power would be had from getting a full racing beat exhaust than a stage2 rtek for your car.

You wont get any gains by simply buying the rtek and installing it, the map loaded is pretty much stock.

What you will get gains from is when you have someone tune it.

With stock exhaust manifold and cats there isnt going to be a whole lot of gains available.
