pretty sort-of-bizarre start to the thread, but i must admit it was worth reading on. it seems you're well on the way to accomplishing your goals and that's not something everyone gets to experience. drifiting is not really my cup of tea, so your car as a whole doesn't really ignite much in me, but your engine ... hot damn!!! by the way - the comment about your car was not meant to be abrasive. while i'm not into that sort of thing, i do respect it as your vision and your build and that that encompasses. you've put some hard work into and that always gets my respect.

i had some aftermarket kg fuel rails but they were annoying so i went back to stock and found a guy that sold modified bosch 1600s that would fit right. im a function over form guy, contrary to shiny aluminum..
thanks. i just do what makes me happy.
started putting it back together today. only got about 2 hours of work in before i decided that 23* is too cold to work
ill finish it up and get it fired tomorrow. have to wait til the weekdays to get a few much needed fasteners that i seem to have misplaced. sucks that metric is so tough to find here.

that's cool, i would hate to see it sold but you have the proper mindset that not many people have 20k to drop on an FC or want to. most cars get parted out.
give me a heads up beforehand so i can try to get a hold of the dyno shop, they have been super flaky lately as i have a car i need to get tuned and haven't been able to get a hold of them for 2 weeks. probably will look for another facility because i'm getting fed up with their stripper hours/no shows and no way to get a hold of them.

no leaks out of the power steering or anything else for that matter. its nice. got tired of replacing exhaust hangers so i bought some steel sleeved ones. 70$ and 2 hours later i gave up on them. went with making some out of some strap steel i had. exhaust is never going to fall again although its somewhat wobbly and squeaky.
took it for a spin around the block for the first time with the new engine. sounded like it was missing or flooding out or not firing as soon as it gets under any kind of load. got scared i maybe chipped a seal or something so did compresion test. everything is around 80 but even. im sure the numbers will come up when it starts to break in. hoping i can tune the problem out since its not internal...

double check all your injector connectors, fuel pressure and CAS timing(don't believe i stabbed the CAS on that one, no pulley). it's always something simple and unless the injectors were changed it should run about how it originally did.
compression figures may sound low but cranking speeds are relevant to cranking compression. 3 rotors don't break any cranking speed records.

it has a few miles on it now. rotary evolution said that these are pretty soft seals so they should break in faster. besides my oversight on the plug wire and the faster turbo response, its been running as if i never went through the engine, which is a good thing.
