Cool Apologies

Omg I really haven't updated this in awhile.... sheesh My bad... and you guys are right I do need to post some pics... I guess I lied about posting pics soon huh? lol... But seriously, thanks everyone for posting. Been working too hard hahahahaaaa. Almost there though... yeah The project kind of detoured.. Turns out the tilton pedal assembly didn't quite fit right so I had to cut out the bottom and weld on an new floorboard... Somewhere here I forgot that the car was going to need a new exhaust... so that took some time but that's finally done... I still have a ways to go but I seriously promise to put some pics up soon lol... and post the video of it running on youtube... It's so that time. Well, thanks everyone for checking this out and for all the moral support LOL Especially all of you pushing for pics... ;-)

i think my 13BT has gone about the same amount of miles one could expect from an LS1 while getting similar fuel mileage and close in HP rating, just down on torque/throttle response. we will see how the supercharger affects the reliability and bottom end of the rotary.

Cool

Thanks everyone for the support lol
Karack, lol I hope the supercharger works out, to be honest my 13bt was at 300 whp and I got like 12 mpg... the LS1 put 26 in a car that's 1000 lbs heavier so I don't see how they can get the same gas milage lol, but it may just be my heavy foot that's the problem....

Nate, what's with the drama?? Leave that crap on your own posts please. lol and nice avatar pic... that Zonda R is bad to the bone!

Mr. Murray, gracias for the support!

Macz... I plan on it. When are the meets and where? I will be looking to attend some soon. Are they RX7 meets only or for other cars as well..? and thanks for the invite. lol I used to live in Riverside back when I was in college.

no ****, if he's going to be a clown then get the **** out.

Truslide, i get 23.5MPG @ 350WHP(obviously just cruising but still not much worse even if i play around a bit). i rebuilt the engine about 70k ago and has a total of over 150k miles on it, accurate total i can only guess as i had to find replacement housings.

i'll say i don't expect to keep that once i get the supercharger details worked out. i expect city mileage will be really be hurting once i toss it on.

That is a for sure since you will have almost instant air charge at lower RPMs. It will be a totally new beast

I myself haven't been to many of them lately since I'm busy, haha. Other cars do join, so it's not a big deal. Some of my friends have LSX's in their cars so we're not all purists either. Which school did you attend in Riverside?

Lol that's good... Actually if you go out I can cruise out with my STi. It will be cool to meet other car guys from the area.

I went UC Riverside. Graduated 2001, so It's been awhile since I went there.

Nice, I graduated there last year! I've been doing more auto-x and track events than meets, so let's hang out sometime. Mazfest's on Aug 14 this year at Cali Speedway, so if anything, try to make it to that one!

Murray needs to come back haha

lol that's comedy.
Murry, wish you were in Riverside when I was there. You would have seen one heehee.

Macz, What auto-x and track events do you normally attend? I've been wanting to get the STi out on the track and once the FC is done, it will definitely be on the track. lol

I do the one CSCC hosts every month at Cali Speedway (sometimes El Toro Airfield).

www.solo2.com

For tracks, I've just started doing them again, last one was at Spring Mountain in Pahrump, next one will probably be at Cali Speedway. Then there's Streets of Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, and Chuckwalla out near palm springs. Check the West Forum sometime, there are usually threads on upcoming events
